Some links to help you with your heritage fair project

http://www.canadashistory.ca/

This website generally talks about Canadian History.  It might be difficult to find information about specific people (especially famous Islanders), but it's a good place to get some background information.

Don't forget about what we talked about regarding wikipedia: it's a great place to start, but you shouldn't base all of your information on it. It is very easy for people to edit the page and put in false information.  Scroll to the bottom of the page and use the "sources" section.

This is a good place to find the addresses of places of interest.  It doesn't have a lot of information, but it has contact information and maps.

The heritage fair website!  Here you'll find all the official information you need to create your project.

http://www.islandregister.com/

I love this website!  It has all kinds of information about the history of PEI, including a list of islanders of the past (going back to the days of Acadians), and a list of ships and the people immigrating to PEI.  It might not help you with your project, but it could be fun to look up your Island ancestors.
